Learning Fundamentals, Inc.—the provider of the reMemo Reminder Service—values you and your business and respects your right of privacy. In the course of working with you it is necessary for us to obtain personal information about you and people you know who choose to receive reMemos . We are posting this notice to inform you of the type of information we may collect, what we do with that information, and with whom we might share it.

We restrict access to personal information associated with your account to employees who need to know that information in order to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to ensure the privacy of your information.

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from:

  • Information you provide when signing up for the service.
  • Information we receive from you on orders and in emails.
  • Information about your transactions with us and our affiliates.

We collect nonpublic personal information about your Users and Recipients from:

  • Information you provide when adding Users to the service.
  • Information you provide when adding Recipients to the service.
  • reMemos you schedule using the reMemo Service.

The information may include, but is not limited to: name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card information, appointments, medications, and other information.

In the course of our general business practices, we may disclose the information we collect for the following reasons:

  • To a third party if the disclosure will enable that party to perform a business or professional function for us.
  • To a third party to protect you, and us, against fraud and unauthorized transactions.
  • To a third party as required by law.

reMemo will only send Scheduled Messages to Recipients—we will never spam the Recipients. reMemo may from time to time send email to account holders informing them of updates, outages, significant changes in the terms of service, or billing issues. We may call the main phone number for your account to inform you of billing issues that may cause an interruption in your ability to send reMemos—but only if we cannot contact you by email. If your service is interrupted or terminated we will not notify Recipients that they will not receive reMemos. We will never sell or give your information to others for their own marketing purposes.

We recognize that the content of reMemos may be sensitive. reMemos are stored in our database using AES encryption. That means that we cannot normally view the contents of the reMemos and in the unlikely event that our server is compromised, the crackers cannot view the reMemos without breaking the encryption. reMemos are decrypted by our mail program and then handled by third-parties before delivery to the Recipient's cell phone or email.

If you are subject to HIPPA regulations you will be solely responsible for restricting access to the Account and complying with the regulations.
